TEAPSPA introduced in the Senate for the first time!

On July 15, 2019, a TEAPSPA Day of Action, a companion bill (S2121) to the Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA, HR2863) was introduced in the Senate.

On July 15, 2019, a TEAPSPA Day of Action, a companion bill (S2121) to the Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA, HR2863) was introduced in the Senate.

S2121 is sponsored by Senator Bob Menéndez (D-NJ) and cosponsored by Cory Booker (D-NJ), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) and Tom Udall (D-NM). The bills seek to prohibit the use of wild animals in traveling circuses across the US.
