Campaigners, who have fought for decades to stop circus suffering, are today celebrating after the British Parliament today finally banned the use of wild animals in travelling circuses in England from January 2020.
On July 15, 2019, a TEAPSPA Day of Action, a companion bill (S2121) to the Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA, HR2863) was introduced in the Senate.
The Traveling Exotic Animal and Public Safety Protection Act (TEAPSPA), which would end the suffering of wild and exotic animals in traveling shows throughout the US, was introduced in Congress on May 21, 2019.
